God needs to patch a character creator menu irl

Icky, I'm the 59 year old mum of my trans daughter. And I want to thank you for the videos that you post  they help me to understand the complexities of what trans people go through. That everyone is different and what is right for one person is not the same for another. And for what it's worth, I think you've made the right choice for you at this moment in time. And in the future you make think yeah I'm ready to do this now, or not as the case may be. Al trans people are beautiful in my eyes. So keep being you and doing your wonderful posts. Xx

Always makes me uncomfortable when people debate trans issues and they assume surgeries and/or hrt. Not everyone needs/wants it, not everyone can get it.

As someone who has had bottom surgery in the UK, bk in 2019 now (Mr Thomas RIP...). It really is something you got to be sure of. Personally I would never look back, feel way better now. But ye that first yr is pretty rough, I'm thankful I had a partner to help me.
Tho in the first 3months I went to Yogcon (Yogscast related con which only happened once) regradless cause fuck that stopping me. So like you can be active after 3months just becareful.

Key take away is, don't feel like you need to. Be the person you want to be, why we transition in the first place.

That talk at the end about wanting to be that cool modern trans woman with a bulge ... Yeah, I feel that. Sober I think I'm hot shit for having one, them I get drunk and I'm like "I want a vagina 😭😭😭"

Thanks Asher for the guest appearance

I wish I didn't feel I needed bottom surgery but I've legit not been able to be intimate with anyone my entire life because of the amount of dysphoria I get from in particular that area -.- I'm so happy that people can just be themselves and I've met so many happy cool trans women who don't feel the need and decided against surgery. The surgery still scares me as does the recovery and any possible issues it could cause but I've come to terms with it being a requirement for me.

Honestly I don’t think the title is clickbait. Getting to the point of contacting the surgeon and almost booking the surgery is pretty far into the decision making process. Appreciate this video and love your content! Relatable here as  someone who is transmasc, the other version of this surgery is the one transition related thing that scares me the most too and I honestly don’t ever think I would do it, for me it just isn’t worth the anxiety and recovery. I had top surgery and that was fine even though the recovery is a bit shit and I had to take a lot of time off work but this is where I draw the line.

Been post op for 20+ years. For me it’s how you feel about your penis, I hated mine, to me it didn’t fit my body. I was ashamed pre op to see myself out of the shower or having to deal with it in the bathroom. After surgery that problem is gone I am comfortable with my body now and feel better in relationships. I was afraid sex would be bad but with time I learned to rewire my body to my mind. Orgasms are easier now and vaginal sex is more fulling for me than anal ever was. It’s a big decision but I healed fast and was up walking a day after surgery. The first month was rough but you can do it on your own, your not disabled you can move around,Dialation is by far the worse part but gets better over time. The thing you have to consider is where do you want to be in 5-10 years. Then you have to consider the clock is running and you never get time back. The pain and discomfort was not as bad as seeing the wrong body everyday.  It is a choice to some to me it was my destiny. Love your vids hon.

6:16 "that's like the cost of like a kitchen renovation" there's a misogynistic joke to be made here

kitchen renovation > downstairs knockthrough

Having had mine about 4 months ago. Personally I couldn't imagine life with out it. It's definitely a choice everyone gets to make but at least for me recovery wasn't as bad as people think. I stayed with my parents for the first month and after that I was good by myself. Honestly the pain wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting. After the first few days I was almost solely using over the counter stuff. It is absolutely necessary to have someone take care of you for at least a week though.

Thus was so cute and fun, while being supportive and informative. <3 u icky

I am sitting here at the moment recovering from my surgery. My experience which of course may differ, is that it has not been as bad as I thought and I am sooo glad to finally get rid of my male parts.  In the end its a personal choice, do what YOU want, not what others say.

I'm glad you decided to pump the breaks on the surgery. Recovery is very difficult and I can confirm it would have been a lot harder without my girlfriend and my Mum who are both extremely supportive. You might find your outlook changes when you're in a more secure relationship. I'll also say it was very much worth the recovery and it's so great just having chasers' interest in me shrivel up and d1e in real time when they realise I don't have it any more haha

i at least know i never want bottom surgery, but i just have immense dysphoria anxiety every time im alone with my thoughts (most the time) because i just want to start hrt sooo bad and feel like im going to die.

Girl the concerns are so real.. its the months of recovery and the trust to have another human follow through with being able to help you through it.. mostly the second part.

I'm having surgery later this year, and despite all the potential complications I'm really looking forward to it. While I'm able to work with the current setup, I'd much prefer a vagina due to both dysphoria reasons and also so I can wear what I want/do activities that require me to wear stuff like that (swimming) more freely. It's also to remove the need for blockers and provide an insurance policy to make sure that, no matter what happens in future, my body can never re-masculinize - if anything gives me anxiety it's the thought of losing access to blockers in the future for whatever reason and being left up shit creek.

Generally, it just feels like one of the last stepping stones I need to get over for my life to really start.

2:33 THE WOLVERINE FROM MARVEL RIVALS LMAO HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh my god, I love it when Asher pops up. Glad to hear his input on the Orchi
