I'm going to Devon for a week in May..  is there anywhere I can fish my little lure rod around there? What type of places would I be looking to find sea fish? Gonna try do bit of research.. iv only ever lure fished freshwater

I love Weymouth.  Spent a few times down there about 6 yrs ago. Are there still shoals of mullett in the marina. I hooked a 5lb thin lipped mullett exactly in the spot where you got that bass.
There were 3 or 4 locals with their u tube there with me at the time giving me good advice about area.  Totally impressed with the way they instantly sprang into action mode with the net..but alas the fish took me under the pontoon and out the hook popped...

Do you think tipping with Ragworm is essential, or could you use Isome or no bait at all?
