This guy has the best advice for experiencing the outdoors.  Never go alone, bring a big dog, and don't forget your gun.

That’s exactly what the Bears want us to believe.

Actually embarrassed at how fast I clicked on this...

As a Montanan, I have had many unusual encounters while fishing remote areas alone. What most people don’t realize, is that many transient people live in remote areas of the Pacific Northwest. I’ve had several encounters with people who have no logical reason being where I am, especially during winter months where I was fishing in blizzard like conditions. I always am armed and acutely aware of my surroundings. I would venture to say that many of these people who go missing, are the victim of a transient or serial killer. I’ve had encounters with some men in the wild and actually told them they were violating my personal space and I was armed. You never know what you’ll encounter when you’re in the middle of nowhere.

forget the parks. 800,000 kids disappear in american cities every year. that’s a trafficking epidemic.

My brother in law went on a walk at a resort in Alaska and disappeared, left no trace. It’s been 9 years and he is still on the National Missing person list.

The only thing I've learned from this is, if I'm doing anything world changing or research related, do not go hiking.

The fact hunters (armed men) go missing without a trace is scary .

I live in Canada. When i was young i would hike and fish in very remote places. We were only 16 or 17 and it was the early 80's. One time we were high in the mountains. A girl in the group went behind some rocks to pee. She came screaming and crying towards us, a group of 5. She had a tear in her shirt and a big scratch from her naval to her neck. Luckily It didn't penetrate the skin ,so we washed it off with some disinfectant from a small first aid kit. When she approached us, we smelled a bad fowl odor ,it disappeared quickly. After we calmed her down she started explaining what happened. We all were thinking she fell. She said A huge hairy arm reached across from beside her. She ducked and jumped sideways to get out of it's grip. She thinks it was trying to grab her. She only got a glimpse of the hand that had a hairy back , dark brown and human type nails ,but dark. She said the arm was really long at about 5 feet. Before it happened she said she smelled a really bad smell. We talk about this to this day and i'm 63 now. We never reported the incident and few people believed us when we told them. The girls were not allowed to be  on the trip so we had to keep it from the parents and the law. No one was drinking and weed was not a thing back then. I don't believe it was a bear, cougar or other common animal. I don't know what it was. She unfortunately passed away from Cancer when she was 55. Many years later i have read of others encountering a similar type creature but i still don't know what to think. It was an exciting event in my life though.

One story that freaked me out was submitted by a hunter who wrote to David about it.
He said he was out hunting one day, the weather was clear and warm. He saw a heard of elk in a clearing which was a perfect spot to see them clearly. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, the forest went deathly quiet, no noises whatsoever. He described it like someone had sucked all the air out of the surroundings.
Suddenly the bushes and trees about 50 yards away from him started shaking violently, as if something was running full sprint through them, but he couldn't see anything. Whatever it was it was huge and was tearing through the trees like they were toothpicks. The elk didn't move, and he watched as this enormous invisible entity made its way towards them. He grabbed his rifle and ran in the other direction.
He went on to say that he believes we share this planet with things we dont understand yet. And whatever it was it probably only chose to act in that moment because it didn't know he was there.

Stacy Arris was my friend. We lived across the street from each other. Her mom babysat me. This actually killed her mom due to the stress

When hunters disappear it always makes me feel like something strange is happening. Hunters are the most capable people I’ve ever known. For them to disappear, and no body or explanation is found, it freaks me out.

This is how you do an interview. Joe doesn’t keep interrupting him and change the subject. He lets him talk and explain his full story.

In the early 90s, here on a Canadian reservation, in British Columbia. I’ve heard a lot of stories of eye witness account’s. one was my uncle and a group of 5 people one a girl were biking home on a long stretch of highway isolated and I mean 4 hours from any city with a hospital but they were nearing home passing a gas bar which was like basically just a trailer and some pumps, than the girl screamed and pointed at the roof of the trailer and they said it was something tall skinny, and lanky like long arms. He said it took too strides backward off the trailer into the darkness because it was dense wood line right behind it. They took all took off after that he said on their bikes. He never was one to talk about paranormal very often he was always like a stern guy.

Joe got el chapo on to talk about aliens...

My grandfather was born in West Virginia in the Appalachians.  He always said the Natives told him if you are in the woods and hear whistles or someone calls your name you get away from that area fast.

Is this the missing 411 guy? Dude is an “internet bedtime” LEGEND

I still don't understand why people go to the mountains in a group, only to split up whenever they have the chance.

As if they were trying to increase the odds of something horrible happening. 😢
