This honestly sounds like how it sounded when they played it in 1983 at the First Avenue Club

When I think of genuises I think of intellectual types. Then I see a video like this and think of Prince. We were truly blessed to witness such musical perfection.

One day in 7th grade we put purple crayons on the furnace at school. It melted into purple droplets, my buddy was cackling singing purple rain. Great times

Haven't listened to this in more than 20 years. Still as awesome as first time I heard it. The reason I pulled it up today is because I just heard Dolly Parton' s recording of it. Prince would be proud of her🎉 Now they can sing it together in Heaven. How glorious that will be🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉RIP PRINCE AND DOLLY❤❤❤❤

Wow the vocals are so clear and popping out. It is blowing my mind, I knew every single crevice of this track and I’m hearing it in an entirely new way. Absolutely incredible

33 ANS après. Août 2026, immense souvenir du Concert de PRINCE à Stockholm, le 5 août 1993 lors de sa tournée européenne Act II Tour....

Just got out of the theater for the one-night only showing of the remastered Dolby Atmos Purple Rain in my local AMC. First time viewing this masterpiece (yes, it’s cheesy at times in a 80s style)! Wow!!!!!! Purple Rain never sounded this good! I don’t think any living artist could do what Prince did for this film❤
