Documentary of the official marching parade and pass-by ceremony (Defilierung) at the 2026 Unterinntal Regional Brass Band Festival in Kufstein (Tyrol, Austria).
On Sunday, August 2, 2026, the historic fortress city of Kufstein transformed into the heart of Tyrolean brass music. The annual festival of the Unterinntaler Musikbund gathered member bands from across the district to celebrate living heritage, camaraderie, and traditional music.
A standout highlight was the festive marching parade through Kufstein, featuring the traditional pass-by ceremony before honored guests and thousands of spectators lining the streets. The impressive opening was performed by the two host bands â Bundesmusikkapelle Hinterthiersee and Bundesmusikkapelle Unterlangkampfen â marching together in a massive joint formation.
In this full video documentary, we capture the highlights of the entire parade: from the powerful sounds of traditional marches and vibrant regional costumes (Trachten) to the joyful atmosphere of this Tyrolean celebration.
