That section where she explains how she meant no disrespect to her father's musical genius by him not being the strongest influence on her folk music... I just don't understand why people attacked her for that. Stop putting the Jackson family in boxes. Stop comparing them to each other. Stop trying to make them fight each other for your entertainment, especially a daughter and her dead father. It's revolting. The family for the longest longest time went through so much pain for exactly those kind of comparisons, attacks and boxing them in and MJ fans, fans, of all people should be wanting the best for his daughter and not engaging in bad faith conspiracy readings of her life and her individual expression.
And also, never heard about how he was as a father from his kids before. It sounds like he created such a nurturing, inspiring environment and taught them so many good lessons about responsibility and care for the world around you.
I love how when she said about living a silver spoon life, she literally listed “food every night, roof over our heads” and then go on to say if they wanted a toy they had to earn it. That tells me that Michael kept his kids grounded.
He protected the hell out of his children and got shamed for it and called weird. SMH, this proves how much he impacted his children in an amazing way. Thank you Michael for leaving us parts of you behind.
Her father spent all his life explaining himself, and now Paris is doing the same thing... don't do it, nobody will love your daddy more than you; LEAVE THEM ALONE
She talks about him like he's an average run of the mill type of father and she's a regular girl growing up, which from his interviews is exactly what he wanted. She loves her father but doesn't put him on a massive pedestal, he's not the "King" to her, he's Dad. He'd be so proud of her, what an amazing woman she's grown up to be.
People are so cruel. To me it’s so sad that you have to explain yourself. I’m so proud of you and what you went through. Stay strong and be you. I’m 38 years sober and I’m 72 years and I loved watching your dad grow. I feel in my heart he loved you kids so much.
I will never understand the horrible hate she’s gotten. Those people are no MJ fans. Giving her death threats and saying anything else awful; that’s something Michael would NEVER approve of. That behavior is NOT acceptable. I’ve been a Moonwalker since August 29th, 2009. I was going to be 11 in December that year. I’m 26 now. I still love Michael more than anything and I always stuck with what I’ve learned from him and I always listened to his messages ♥️
Though their time together was far too short, Michael obviously did a very good job raising his kids to be nice, carring, respectful, brave and bright people. Keep going strong❣️
