Carlo Acutis died in 2006 at just **15 years old**.

Yet less than two decades later, the Italian teenager known for his devotion to the Eucharist and his use of computers to document Eucharistic miracles would become one of the most recognizable young figures in the Catholic Church.

Carlo understood technology remarkably well for his age.

But he also warned against allowing the distractions of ordinary life to pull people away from God.

One of the sayings most closely associated with him was:

*“The Eucharist is my highway to Heaven.”*

Another message repeatedly connected with Carlo was the importance of becoming the person God intended you to be rather than simply copying everyone else.

After being diagnosed with leukemia, Carlo's illness progressed rapidly. He offered his suffering for the Pope and the Church before dying on **October 12, 2006**.

His story did not end there.

His cause for sainthood began, reported miracles attributed to his intercession were investigated, and his tomb in Assisi became a destination for pilgrims from around the world.

Carlo was beatified in 2020 and later canonized, becoming **Saint Carlo Acutis**.

Today, his warnings about distraction, technology, faith, and the Eucharist are being heard by a generation living in a world even more digitally connected than the one Carlo knew.

But did Carlo actually leave behind a prophetic “final message”?

In this video, we examine his documented words, his final days, and the message he genuinely left behind—while separating his authentic statements from dramatic predictions later attributed to him online.

Perhaps Carlo's message wasn't about predicting exactly what would happen next.

It was about preparing ourselves for whatever does.
