This season was actually based off an old SMP of Grian's called EVO SMP that included other lifers like Martyn, Jimmy, BigB and later Pearl

Gem's pov for past life is so good. from sick gem in the first 2 episodes to the banger that is episode 3 to the later episodes and eventually the finale

the frenemy relationship between Gem and Bdubs this season was one of my favorite parts!

gem's pov of this season is one of my all time favourites!! its so fun

Typically Grian tries to balance the amount of lives with how dangerous the gimmick is. Originally i think he wanted 4 for this series, but when testing Beta there were crazy mob spawning rates including bugged spiders that would glitch into the ground and kill the player who wouldn’t know where they’re being attacked from. So he decided on 6 lives, but whatever happened in the testing didn’t happen in the actual session, possibly due to the amount of players logged in

Martyn's joke was more relevant at the time,
Because there was a surge in people impersonating others with AI before this season started
Because of new gen AI tools being trained on voice banks

(Which is still not okay,
As these voice banks were usually not only acquired without consent
They were also used for illegal applications)

watching you talk about how bad gen AI is was so hot! noteworthy mention: it consumes too much water, falsifies actual true evidences and makes false evidences for personal gain

"We are not scared of you jimmy" just you wait 😭

Definitely watch jimmy's pov as well if you ever got time.. he improved so much in this one.. especially in the last few episodes.

it may have been a bit of a tangent but i appreciate you discussing why gen AI is bad, spreading that information is always good! and i’ll clarify for martyn that he was in fact joking, he does not support generative AI at all

When Grian started this gimmick on his first smp(technically 2nd) the f5 only shows the back of the player so everytime they do an intro it's just hilarious to look at

When he's done reacting to this series. We should have him react to how giran ended his. The montage of them updating the world in between sessions is really cool.

If you watch Grian or Etho’s first episode, you will find out that this is actually THE seed from the classic panorama. I think the Unpacked painting, too.

As a youtube watcher i enjoyed the generative AI "hate" section it was entertaining

I'M SO EXCIETED TO REWATCH EP 3 BRO

It is not Lizzie's POV anymore but that does not decrease my efforts of asking for Lizzies Empires SMP the Musical.
It is amazing. Please react to it.

Finally it is here. The most recent one. Thank you for watching Gems perspective.

Holy... 11k in 1 day, I didn't realize how big his reactions really were...

W wolfeei

Yeah, i didnt even see his reactions on Unstable. Speaking of which, I plan to binge Unstable at some point, do you recognize just watching Wolfeei's reactions in chronological order like a watch party?

4:18 Actually some of the devs of the voice chat mod where the one woh helped get the server up and running (and updationg from minecraft version to minecraft version) so thats probably why

22:20 The number of lives in each life series depends on how violent/chaotic they think it's going to be or if it's related to the gimmick:
Third Life had 3.
Last Life had 2-6 at random.
Double Life was 3 but shared damage and healing.
Limited Life was 24 hours with each multiple of 8 hours being a different color (yellow at 16, red at 8).
Secret Life was 30 hearts per each of 3 lives, but you can't regen health.
Wild Life had 6 since multiple wildcards were actively deadly.
Past Life had 6 since Minecraft was harder in earlier versions and has some extra bits thrown in that you haven't seen yet.
