The beginning of crabbing season is always a rough time. Getting the crab pots in the water, making sure the crab stand opening goes smoothly, and all of the little things that need to get done make for a very stressful time. This week felt so long, but we made it through. Hopefully the rest of the crabbing season is smooth sailing.

Luke you need a continuous duty cast iron pump for your boiler problem I was a building engineer for 30 years and ran steam boilers the size of your boat anybody who reads this keep tagging it so Luke finds it and is able to get the right pump for his boiler issue

I was a marine mechanic for 35 years . And I was always amazed on how the crabbers would make stuff work on their boat . I would literally scratch my head when I see that.

Hi Luke
I just signed onto subscribe this evening. Started watching you over a year ago and then took a hiatus from crab fishing. I found myself watching many of your videos over the last month or so. I live in Sudbury Ontario Canada. The farthest away from any fresh seafood . However, I am captivated by you and your crew and the work that is required to fish crabs. I am 59 years old and a small business owner operator so I can appreciate the challenges of operating a small business. Good on you though. You look like you’re crushing it.

Luke, I just started watching your channel week. I found it looking at small boats and motors. Then I started watching your crabbing videos. It's been very awesome seeing how hard you're working to build your business into a full sales operation of your own crabs through the cool boat stand you built. Plus, it's great seeing your mother involved with her crab cakes, and how you're selling and shipping them as well as the crabs.
Most all, what's kept me here, is respectful you are to others and that you don't curse. It was also heartwarming seeing that you hired green horns, and give them a chance. Your patience with them, and respectful attitude towards them is very commendable.
