My wife asked me to make a Gift for my mother-in-law and I had a few ideas... There was a bear trap, a guillotine, a broom stick storage rack...
Strangely my wife rejected all these ideas so I had to be a bit more thoughtful about the gift.
Eventually I decided to make her a Robin Nesting Box from scraps of wood I had lying around. It's an easy woodwork build with very little carpentry skilled required, and I've shared it here for you along with a little humour - with the emphasis there being on 'little.'

But i find it amazing that with all the care you took and finish, painting etc, that you did not cover the two screws in front.
