The way I understand it is that HP is being used as a counter to all the one-shot options at the top of the meta such as Eliter, Blasters, Roller, etc. Tanking one of those shots is just enough to get you in and perhaps change the momentum of the game.

Why people can't choose a weapon by themselves, now that some people are using recycled brella in tournaments I keep seeing this weapon in my games.

2:03 it’s probably because of the meta I can tell from X and stuff that lobstar liked Sblast, RB, and rapid a lot more than vblast idk about melon he could 1v4 an area cup rn

10:56 i think a big part of this is that when u vac forwards, have to clump at least two guys, and that makes u vulnerable to the sides. and they just dont clear stack, and pince themselves, and the instant they run out of invincibility specials, they just all die.
its like the did a complicated and expensive reefcheese; they just didnt take the positions u need to hold that.
holy, they just did it again at 12:12. they spend 3 specials, get zone and die. like u gotta focus stack there, and ideally stagger specials, but mostly u gotta focus stack
honestly i see them doing that a bit, it looked like why their lumaria push didnt work. they all took bottom and got themselves flanked
had to edit cause they did it again! 15:15 they keep vaccing into lowground without cover (where they get pinced), and die. yellow team gets a retake cause recycled and blaster overextend and get themselves pinced, so they just go 2 down for nothing, but like, wow. they shoulda just lost after losing their hold.

You get one-shoted everywhere and need protection, but none of them are broken or fun.
