What weird timing today my mother just came back from the shops gifting me a Tiger 1 beginners Airfix set. Now I open YouTube to see this video

Fury was the only movie to have a real Tiger tank on set that being Tiger 131

I remember the Tiger Field Manual! I used to have one of those when I operated one.

The stug tank destroyer was the best

The funny thing is that more Tigers were sighted on the Western Front than ever existed.

The reason: an upgraded Panzer IV looked similar to the Tiger (only smaller). This often led to false reports.
This wasn't surprising, since the Tiger (concept studies around 1937) was being developed at the same time as the Panzer IV.

The Panther, on the other hand, as well as the Tiger II, were considerably more modern, as they incorporated the lessons learned from the war.

11:28 The Germans had the coolest freaking names for everything.

I hear that at time German panzer 4’s were mistaken for tiger tanks

Allied tank commander seeing a tiger tank during ww2
"Oh s*@# we gonna di...nvm it's the one with the winch we good".

Really nice video about Tiger 1! Some time ago I crafted a story about "The German Tiger Tank of Kharkov" on my YT channel, it's great to see Tiger 1 so well detailed over here! Thanks for your content!

wth is dat turret turn animation😂😂 1:25

I bought Otto Carius's autobiography long ago and the field manual of Tiger Tank came along with the autobiography.

Sadly, the book was too thick and I had little time to read it, though I still have it.

Since I was a us army tanker for 26 yrs, I started collecting ww1 2 to the present Tanker items. 😂 its getting out of control

This compilation was superb!

I saw Tiger 131, the world’s only operational Tiger I tank, at Tankfest 2025.  It was awesome!

Tiger 131 is definitely on my bucket list, but for those of us in the US you don't have to go to England to see a Tiger, the National Armor and Cavalry heritage Collection at Fort Moore (Formerly Benning) has the oldest Tiger known to still exist, as well as it's big brother, the Tiger B, among many others. To see all these steel beasts in person is an awesome, humbling event and is a must see for any history buff or aficionado of militaria. It holds several open house events each year where the public can see all these beasts and pieces of living history.

Please explain King tigers II inside

Sherman Tank: “Wimpy! Wimpy! Wim-py!”
Tiger 1 Tank: “HEFTY! HEFTY! HEF-TY!”

17:19 make it two operational tiger tanks. Because just a few days ago. A tiger E tank number 114 aka Bretagne, was restored in working order in musee des Blindes.

Why does no one talk about Kurt knipsel he got 168 confirmed kills.

The tiger is just one of those tanks that just has that aura that like i cant explain i just looks like a beast especially with the cannon🔥🔥🔥🔥
