Hey guys Jawad here, It was a pleasure meeting you guys here in Peshawar, I hope to meet you guys here again under different circumstances.

And Quentin asked me to tell you guys that he is happy to finally be home and has no plans of going back. 😂😂😂

Noticeably absent - women. I feel like there needs to be some recognition that men are privileged to be able to enter countries and have these experiences. I highly doubt a woman traveling there would even be able to leave with a security team.

Everything’s been great since you left me there with my brothers! Greetings to you, Thomas and Staffan

So odd hearing a group of men rave about how safe they feel, despite locals working at the hotel telling them to exercise caution, and almost mock how they need to have escorts. As a woman I can see, just watching this, that we wouldn’t feel the same sense of safety. I do truly wish men understood how privileged they are.

Staffan here! We are deep inside a mountain area right now without mobile service (for days) but just met a local who let us hotspot. We just wanted to say hi to all here and to say we absolutely LOVE Peshawar. More stories to come from this country.

2026 seasons is about to be a wild (& real) one. Ok my hands freezing of texting hehe so back to our adventure. Thanks for being here, we love ya all!

I'm so glad that Stefan asked about the women. Have you ever considered teaming up with a woman explorer sometimes so that they can show more of the places, as the women experience it? I wouldn't mind betting that it would give a very different and interesting perspective

The way guy sitting on the street offered them his food and then the whole bunch of strangers ate together from the same pot was Beautiful. They didn’t seem very rich but did have a big heart to share their food 🙌

As a solo female traveler and a latina, I’m always looking for the women in their videos, this is definitely one perspective to travel but does not encompass the scope for women travelers to unknown foreign lands like these.

Streets full of kindness. I just wonder where half the population is. I mean, women.

Not a single women on the streets, wondering how the experience would be for women travellers

This video encompasses one of Yes Theory's greatest strengths: to show that no matter where you go all over the globe, you will find people and cultures that are extremely good and incredibly hospitible.

My cousin lives in Peshawar. She is a musician. I've visited her many times and every time some people told me to be careful but nothing ever happened to me. Me and her goes shopping outside, visit different places and surprisingly I'd say that they are some of the most hospital people in Pakistan.

I live in The Netherlands and I’m very biased and hesitant towards muslim and north african culture due to what I experienced personally. The media has fuelled my anger and interpretation of this culture. Even while I know I was being influenced I was okay with this new perception and more extreme thoughts of segregation.

However, this video has made me rethink all of it. The culture of the pakistani’s made me rethink my thoughts and helped me remember the times in high school when my Pakistani, Maroccan and Surinam friends always invited me to their homes and their parents received me with open arms, shared food and were very hospitable.

So thanks for making and sharing this video, it changed my thoughts and helped me remember the love that I had selectively banned from my thoughts 🫶🏻

It always makes me sad to see male solo travelers have experiences I could never have.

Welcome to Pakistan, especially Peshawar!
We Pakistanis, especially Pashtuns from Peshawar, are not what the media often shows. We are peaceful, loving, and deeply respectful people. Hospitality is part of our culture—we treat guests like family, not strangers. When visitors come here, they experience our kindness, generosity, and warmth. This is the real image of Pakistan.

Hi friends, I see many people commenting about us being men traveling here. So I want to give our a shout-out and point you towards some of our favorite solo female travelers who traveled to Pakistan and had very unique experiences: Itchy boots and Eva Zu Beck, but there are mah more. I recommend going to watch any of them. The people of Pakistan’s hospitality extends to everyone 🙏 More stories to come from Pakistan 😊 / Thomas

I’m not Pakistani, but after watching many travel videos, I’ve come to admire how warm and hospitable Pakistani people appear to be. The way they welcome guests really stands out.
