Step by step instructions on how to replace the wheel bearings.
I have done a test drive across Australia and back and none of the wheels fell off. So it probably worked.

Well i came to a professional to help me with a non solved problem.
I have recently restored finally a beautiful 2cv .
The issue i am having is with the front left bearing "play "
I figured out that my left arm is ami arm and the front is 2cv
Left arm 76*36*29 bearing and right arm 72*35*27 bearing.
Well my problem is i tried so many different ways to eliminate the play on the bearing it self.
If i put the wheel hub and tight fit the nut that secures the bearing i put everything in place and i have a play inside the bearing cause there is nothing there to support the inner compartment of the bearing...
I mean that the outter compartment of the bearing stays secure by the nut and in the inner compartment goes the wheel hub and the axle so when i put the axle nut and tight fit everything i still get a play from th bearing.( New bearing)
Am i missing something? Maybe a C clip goes to the arm before you fit the bearing? I don't know what to do.
Iam trying to find on internet maybe a double rolled bearing that is not separates in half and its secured from the sides with metal cases but there is nothing out there with those dimensions.
Please need help.
Appreciate your work and craftsmanship and thank you if you replying or not
