I don't see anyone recommending Crooked Man in the RPG Horror games section. I liked the story in that one

Omori, To The Moon, Witch's House, Corpse Party next please Connor 🙏🏻

Seeing people recommend classics like To the Moon, Witch's House and Corpse Party, I'm going to add Ao Oni and Mogeko Castle to the list.

The Witch’s House is the next natural step in tracing the history of these RPGMaker horror games. Other notable ones which are in the 3-10 hour range include Misao, The Crooked Man, and Pocket Mirror.

YES WE ARE SOCLOSE FOR OMORI GAMEPLAY

I immediately had flashbacks when Pewds played this.
I'm so glad to see Ib again!

another indie horror game LETSGO!!!

Nostalgia... I've always liked this game for being a little charming horror with a surreal leaning to it and the wholesome dynamics between Ib and Gary against how dark the rest of the gallery world is.

Ib!! Yume Nikki, Mad Father, and now Ib... The Witch's House next? Corpse Party??

Anyways, I dunno how many times he's gonna play Ib and if he's gonna try and get all of the endings but there's a hidden museum in the game after playing it once (it's this game's secret room which was added years later after the original released so it should be available here) where you can find all of the exhibits you checked out in the main game (so long as you were able to read the names properly). The named characters also show up depending on what endings you've gotten so if you've gotten them all, all of the others would be in that museum, too!

I think I've only ever watched Manly and Cry play this game, so its cool to see Connor play

Hope for pocket mirror and little goody two shoes next - both are underrated in this 'genre'.

OMG!! Monke is playing the unholy trio of jrpgmakers! LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

It makes me pretty happy to see that other people are trying to revive To the Moon by requesting Connor to give it a try...hopefully he does because his voice would pair really well with the story!

5:00 likely someone mentioned in chat, and well the game mentions - but yeah while for us not knowing some of the words feels odd, this is a japanese game, and Ib is very young... ergo, the 'words' she doesn't know are kanji she has yet to learn how to even pronounce, hence the game not showing even the spelling

Dang mad father then Ib is a contrast. Both stories are lowk simple sure but Ib is much more oomph

Another commentator suggested Pocket Mirror, for those interested it also has a prequel (released after PM) called Little Goody Two Shoes!

Holy Monke in his horror phase let’s go

waiting for the witch’s house next!! he’s almost done with the big three

Hell yessss Ib's always been my favorite out of the rpg maker games of that era, I'm so glad Connor also saw its charm!

Classic RPG Maker horror games are so peak and so happy Connor is playing them
