I love old school musicians who make REAL original music with REAL instruments who sing with their REAL voices, no autotune, no pre-programmed " beats ", no electronic trickery, just real honest music, the kind that doesn't make it to the grammys.

I grew up with Beatles music. The one LP after the other just blew one's mind. Every new song was a masterpiece. Sixty years later I have listened to every song at least 100 times. And you know what? Ringo's drumming and Paul's bass made them the GOAT.

For me, the greatest quote Ringo ever gave was a quote he gave in the 70s when they were all still alive. And in it's way just completely encapsulates not only how famous they were but how they related to each other through all the craziness & how they kept each other's feet on the ground. Ringo said: "John, Paul, and George are the only three people on the planet who don't treat me like a Beatle."

Ringo is an all-time classic! Funniest line was at the end when Ringo asked David, "What do you play?" David: "I don't. I just mumble jokes." LOL I went straight to Come Together after this.

I turn 70 April 6th 2026. I have wanted to tell Ringo since I was 8 years old thank you. When I saw the Beatles come to America I knew right then on the in Sullivan show that playing the drums with what I wanted to do right then. I've been playing off and on I'll never stop. I have a 1967 set of Ludwig's with zildjian cymbals. How I miss my Speed King pedal. I don't think if it weren't for him and the Beatles that I would be playing drums. Let me tell you I was a hit in high school. Junior high too for that matter. Opened my eyes two wonderful music. Maybe one of you gentlemen could thank him for me. How lucky you are. I wish I could stand in front of Ringo in person and just..... I know he wouldn't let me hug him. I think Ringo looks great. Makes me a little sad though when he sold his rings I can't stop thinking about that I wish I could have got those and maybe at least one of The Beatles front kick drum head.
