It is bad to cold start an engine and not warm it up.
Like into or out of the garage.
My first hybrid was a 2012 Camry.
I needed to back the car out of the garage, maybe 50 feet.
It refused EV mode because the engine wasn't warmed up, WTF?
My only use for EV mode and it wouldn't do it!
My 2013 Prius was the same way.
Does anyone know if this has been fixed so you can EV mode and keep the cold engine OFF?
