The chinese commentary at 1:37 is saying that Li Daying had a back injury and went through surgery before this...props to him

@dylanboudreaux9916 5 years ago

Li looked hurt after that 175kg snatch. You can just see his body language.

@cbn1362 5 years ago

Bittersweet feeling here. Lu is just insane and Li Dayin broke my heart. Had high hopes for this boy.

@CAfakmykak 5 years ago

Lu fails 165. Goes for 170. Completes it.
Big flex.

7:20 Eoin just froze 😂

@chrism45 5 years ago

You can see Li Dayin always shift to his left leg. His right lower back is in trouble, he can heal and come back stronger.

@chrismanich3063 5 years ago

@12:10 correction, Lu's best total of his life in comp was 381 (174/207) at the 2016 chinese nationals

@teatowel11 5 years ago

At Lu's age, any competition could be his last that he is in contetionfor a record. May as well go for that record.

@______-im2cn 5 years ago

did no one notice li walk off in pain after his last snatch?

@monkeyfungfung 5 years ago

Remember, he's 36 years old

@giovannijing9175 5 years ago

I watched this live . Lu’s coach told him that there is no need to try such a heavy weight. Lu said he just wanted to feel the feeling on the court.

@mrsrandommademedoit3387 5 years ago

WHAT would LU gain from FAKING that injury? In fact he was literally laying on the floor!, between every lift. Gettting COLD with ICE on his back. And then goes out and does 207 Body completely COLD, no warmups .. that shit was INSANE.

Lu is 100% one of the greatest weightlifters of all time

@MaestroJericho 5 years ago

I'm glad Lu is going because he was the better choice and not because it could be his last Olympics. Imagine he gets gold and leaves his shoes on the podium.

2 minute clock. "He still has time to learn the split jerk!" hahaha

i love Zack and his commentary, but this was hilarious at first

"i guarantee you he's not gonna lift here (...) Lü's gonna follow himself" Li lifts, Lü moves up 5kg.

"if he makes this it's gonna be his competition (...) Lü is fucked" Li ends up bombing out on c&j and Lü wins.

"i don't know about this one..." Lü nails it.
