Even if that was a real seizure, which I'm 99.9% sure it wasn't, her "vr family" handeled it HORRIBLY. Their behaviour would scare someone coming out of a seizure, and it's honestly like they were trying to have a dramatic Grey's Anatomy moment. Holy shit.
as someone whos sister was intubated in the icu for having 16 back to back seizures last february AND having a seizure at home i personally witnessed and administed emergency first aid to her so she wouldn't DIE, this is so fucked up and such attention seeking bullshit. i sobbed for HOURS after listening to my sister choke on her own vomit and saliva over the phone when she had her first episodes, i didnt leave her side in the hospital for three days. last month when she had her last one i woke up out of a dead sleep, but ass naked, to sprint into her room and put her on her side and time the seizure for EMS. for someone to fake something that is not only so horrific for the person to experience, but also so traumatic for the people who witness and love that person is fucked up. my sister could not speak for at least half and hour after her seizure, and she could not remember the last few days, let alone months in the first case. i hope this person deletes their account and gets off the internet.
Someone with epilepsy here,, she wasn't having a seizure vro. The hand things would be dropped and the head piece would be flying around was jerking (the seizure she's trying to copy I assume.) and her coming back so soon was the most suspicious part "if you guys fighter me I'll have a seizure." I normally (even when I'm grounded) I have some struggle talking from biting my tongue with pain. And many brains work differently causing epilepsy to not be all the same but it takes me 5-7 hours to get grounded again.
as someone with autism and sensory processing disorder who gets overstimulated fairly easily, a group of people with multi-coloured avatars sitting on top of me (literally blocking me screen and filling it with a bunch of colours) while i’m wearing a VR headset would be 100x more overstimulating than some dude just trolling and pretending to hit me with a hammer (though, i could conceivably see that as also being overstimulating in a way, but not nearly as badly since it would’ve been less in my "face" and was happening for a shorter period of time, but when combined with a bunch of people also sitting on top of me, that would probably add on to the overstimulation), no matter the intentions of any party involved (because that’s literally not how overstimulation works), but, in this situation i would behave like a normal person and either block everyone who was bothering me or leave instead of lying on the floor and acting like a dog who’s tail has just been stepped on for attention 😐
