Love this! My family has an odd Christmas tradition for a white/Arab family: we do Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and then make a killer Chinese dinner on Christmas day. It stemmed from Chinese restaurants being the only ones open on Xmas day. We did that for a few years before thinking, "Hey! We can make this stuff!". Shoutout to Mala Market online. Amazing store.

Before the kids flew the coop, making wontons from scratch for hot pot was our family tradition. 🍲✨ Since it’s just been my husband and me, we’ve completely relied on the frozen aisle. But seeing your plump, juicy wontons has officially inspired me to ditch the freezer and start folding again! 🥟🫶

Nearly identical to Shumai, which I've made alongside the chili oil shown in this video.  It's to die for... they're relatively healthy, and super easy to grab/go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  I found that eating them cold was just as good (kind of a cold pizza situation).
