Dr. Primer! (Zevin)

This is my remix of the beloved "Corridors of Time/Zeal theme" from the Chrono Trigger series.
I love this soundtrack and the floating island aesthetics, so I decided to draw + animate my version of zeal. Enjoy!

P.S. Made it 30 minutes long to play as a background study/relaxion music.

"This is the eternal kingdom of Zeal, where dreams can come true. But at what price?"

I was so depressed that Zeal was closed off after a certain point in the game. I used to love to go to that era just because of the original of this theme.

I've never understood why, but floating islands always trigger a deep sense of longing, like no other fantasy settings. The feeling is so powerful, it makes me want to cry.
I remember the first time seeing Castle in the Sky, and it moved me so deeply, I was in a daze for days.

I love this one, it's like Corridor of Time meets Pilotwings.

The song is great on its own, but I absolutely love how you paired it with this art. The vibes mesh so perfectly!

Seriously, the music was ahead of its time.
After all this time, it's still perfect.

This is a pretty insane Corridors of Time remix. I've listened to hundreds of hours of other versions and it might be my new top1.

Mystic, exotic, calm, melancholy, fantastical, dreamy.
It doesn't fade away over the years.
Truly timeless.

Ah, such a trip.

Felt like I was on the Wings of Time myself, flying back to a simpler day and time.

Listening to this mix gives me a lot of nostalgic emotions, remembers me of these eternal summers when I was 12, playing SNES, N64 or Tibia (an old MMORPG) since the very begining of the morning just to kill time before hanging out with my fellas, just to return for dinner and keep playing again.

Good old times when we had no worries at all.

I really don't know why, but this is actually what time sounds like.

Zeal always felt tragic to me, and the music always had that vibe that something was amiss. However, you tranformed it into something that feels like home, at peace. Well done.

Was here last year, and this month I was thinking about long playlists I could listen to to keep calm and pass the time. Lo and behold, this resurfaced in my recommends. Now it's almost midnight, but I had to come here :pillow-turquoise-hot-chocolate:
