Rabia Basri is a role model for all Muslim women. Despite Rabia not leaving any written work herself, her earlier life has been compiled by Farid al-Din Attar. Rabia used to spend the whole night in prayer after finishing her household work. She used to fast regularly.

Rabi'a was a great woman and Muslim, a true wali/saint. It's too bad some details of her life were lost to history and rumors but we know for sure she existed and we know at least some details of her life that are almost certainly confirmed.

Rabiyah Bassiryah RA is indeed a great role model for us to emulate. I do take her as a Murshid, a teacher & a guide.
Loving Allah for the sake of Allah is what we need to practice. It's a daunting task, that needs to done slowly and steadily, with fortitude. Ya Allah Guide us and help us love you as you like to be loved. Aameen.

I thought I was weird for not caring about jannah or hellfire at all. I only desired to worship Allah out of love. I'm happy to see that I thought like her😅

1 - Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]
