The Brocock Ranger has always been a fan favorite, but the new XR2 Recon version takes things to a whole new level.
With an AR15-style grip and stock, the Recon is incredibly versatile and arguably one of the most comfortable "tactical" rifles we’ve shouldered. This version features a longer barrel, bringing it up to a more traditional rifle length, and with the addition of accessory rails, you can truly build this out into the tactical rig of your dreams.
However, Brocock has gone all-out on the power management. With two separate power adjusters totaling 39 different settings, we have to ask: is that level of micro-adjustment actually necessary?
As you’d expect from the brand, the engineering is spot-on and the build quality is world-class. It took us a minute to find the right pellet, but once we did, the accuracy was undeniable. Is this the ultimate evolution of the Ranger platform?

I love my BRK Pathfinder XR, the other day for the first time I shot it without a moderator fitted, wow 😮 what a bark it has and made me realise what a good job the moderators make!
BTW, do yourselves a favour and get a Garmin C1 Pro chronograph and give us accurate and reliable results?!

Lothar walther barrels seem to prefer h&n's whilst cz barrels tend to prefer jsb - generally!
