In this video we give our first impressions of Seoul South Korea as we arrive into the country on Korea airlines. We go through the steps of arriving at Incheon airport such as using the ATMs, T-money card and the public metro into the city.
We check into our hotel in #seongsu and head out to give our general first impressions of the country. After this we head to the main tourist areas and grab some awesome local food and explore some of the shopping that Seoul has to offer.

The street food is ok, but a bit pricey. The street food is for tourists, not locals. One restaurant I would recommend in Myeongdong is Myeongdong Kyoja Branch and have Galguksu - very well made at reasonable prices.
You can also get Galguksu at the food stalls in Gwangjang Market.
Just east of Myeongdong, walking along Eulji-ro and to the south in the narrow alleys are restaurants and bars frequented by locals. Better food at better prices.

ATMs are always a bit of a pain in Korea, and I donโt know why. Not all of them take international cards (look for โglobal atmโ) and then my bank recently changed me to a Mastercard debit and it was very difficult to find an ATM that would take it. The good thing is you donโt really need cash for much other than street vendors or topping up your t-money card.
And yes, bus drivers in Seoul are crazy!
