Honestly, isn't the possibility that "the small group of searchers" may have been who was chasing him, and to throw off officers they put the stuff there and pretended to "find" it? Or perhaps just before the small group of searchers came after the real killer dumped his remains off in that location to be found because they were cocky and wanted to watch people look baffled and laugh at them for it?

😮 I JUST HAD THE BIGGEST BRAINWAVE. So I watched your big episode on Brandon the other day. And when this one came on and he said RUN from that cop. Not THE cops, THAT cop. Every misleading statement has come from Deputy Neal. A trucker called about a stranded motorist? The skull fragment was found likely where Brandon was hiding when that phone call was made. My guess is it was the chunk the bullet literally removed from his head. Kinda hard to find in the pitch black and you’re already moving a body.

So anyway- He called the cops for help, (honestly probably WAS high,) and took tf off when he saw WHO they sent to “help.” The cop stayed behind to “watch the truck.” He was watching for Kyle to get out of eyesight just as much as Kyle was. He then tracked Brandon down and took him out. The ONLY reason his brother is still alive is because he took his wife and kid with him. Otherwise they’d both be dead in the desert. Can someone please find out if the cops have examined this theory?

The story of Lawson in San Angelo is close to home for me.  a friend of mine his body was found west of San Angelo.  he’s was missing for about a year.  a week before thanksgiving 2025  in the middle of nowhere and no suspects. His car was totally burn with him in it. There wasn’t even a road where he was found

My thoughts on Brandon are these.
Even when looking fir something or someone there's something called willfull blindness. Basically even though it's there you don't see it for whatever reason. Could be the size of the item, sun in your eyes, all kinds of reasons - especially in fields with ground cover. Most won't lift up the roots and  grasses to look under. Could also have been buried. If it's shallow unless you know what to look for you won't find it.

This is true crime not horror

Two things. That no one is discussing. One. The policeman is involved. The man said so. Two. A second police car did come out, and they killed the man. They have the ability to kill, and hide the body before returning it. That’s what I would investigate.
