The Bandai crash occurred 54 years ago on July 3, 1971. A Toa Domestic Airlines (later Japan Air System) YS-11 passenger plane crashed into Yokotsudake in Nanae Town while en route to Hakodate Airport, killing 68 passengers and crew. A memorial monument was erected near the site the year after the accident. What kind of road is the Yokotsu Road that leads there? And what kind of accident was the Bandai crash? We went to the site and looked back on the events that led to the accident.
This is the first video in the 5th anniversary of the launch of our YouTube channel.
(A total of three videos are planned for 2025)
*The timing will be irregular.
We will create videos that allow you to learn about and look back on Hokkaido from a slightly different perspective than usual.
