I should NEVER have bought my old Yamaha back… or should I?
After buying back the exact 2002 Yamaha FZS600 Fazer that I originally owned more than 23 years ago, it’s time to give it the proper service it desperately needs.
The bike has covered very few miles in recent years, but that doesn’t mean it can simply be ridden. Old fuel, engine oil, coolant, filters, spark plugs and brake fluid all need checking or replacing, so in this video I start going through the Fazer and getting it ready for the road again.
Everything was going pretty well… until I started hearing a rattle from the engine. 😬
Is it something simple, or have I bought my old Yamaha back only to discover a much bigger problem?
There’s still plenty to do with this bike, and I’m determined to get to the bottom of that noise!
