Destiny 2 Season of the Deep featured a lot of important lore for the Destiny2 universe. This story focuses on Deep Dives, Sloane, and the Drifter working with Asha to get more context about this mission.
Credit to @Chezvii for the capture bits I missed.

For all the immortality the Worms gave the Krill and turned them into Hive, they are unchanged at their hearts: Xiro/Xivu is afraid and lashes out in violence, Sathona/Savathun clings to her family and wields trickery like a scalpel and Oryx/Aurash(?) was always proud and ambition was was his fall.
What would they have been like if The Traveler had uplifted them to The Sky before the Worms drowned them in The Deep?
Funny how people will blast Ubisoft for this but not Bungie.
