Heat gun- I use mine to quickly dry paint, soften the glue to dismantle furniture and quickly cure polymer clay without an oven. Gets a lot hotter than a hair dryer.

We had a basement window like that and my Dad always let a spider make it's web there to catch any flies or moths. I always thought of it as a pet spider. Way back when, we had wooden crates that would hold scraps of wood and we stored some spare floor tiles. Our very old house in Chicago also had an unfinished basement section that Norway rats lived in! Also the basement used to be a men's shower facility, because many houses didn't have a tub if not running water in 1870.

oversized metal cooking pots and jars for canning left until they're needed again. camping gear. maybe a pet carrier or crate? other tools? beach umbrella
at my house, the washer and dryer are also in the basement. water heater, maybe breaker box?

This is great! I loved the gas can. As soon as I saw it, I thought that it would make a great gas can and lo and behold, that's what you turned it into! Maybe you can find some woven cloth and make some empty sacks or full sacks of.... something. Dirt maybe or potting soil. Also maybe some cans of automotive oil or a big jug of antifreeze with maybe a used funnel. You could make a portable shop light by using an oblong vitamin capsule or something. I bought some tiny black tubing that I use to make electrical cords and plugs. Anyhow, I could go on and on. 😂 Great job! I always love hearing you work. ❤

Awesome minis. Would never know they were made out of garbage! Thank you for sharing. I remember my grandparent's basement having mouse traps. Of course, they never caught any because the mice were smart. LOL
