So looking at Shadow's point of view I can see why he would want to kill Eggman. The guy enslaved people, stole their lives, and went back on a promise for there to be peace. Leaving him locked up would be foolish since what if he breaks out and since he holds 99% of the world he has a very powerful influence, meaning he can escape easily.

Woah! did M turn into the Terminatior or she is a Terminator. Also when she charged up her laser eyes it sounds like some that rich student from Morningwood Academy from that Family Guy episode who has that stuttering laugh!!

In my opinion, Mecha "M" Robotnik is by far the weirdest and most bizarre robot Eggman has ever created
