Fiora's arc of losing her autonomy and reclaiming it through the support of others is deeply important to me. Great video as always!

The decision to make Fiora the final Xenoblade in the Klaus Saga makes a lot more sense now

If Fiora hadn't been revived as a meckon, Shulk would have fallen to  Zanza's hate and become a puppet to him, but Fiora managed to bring him back to reality, gaining the trust of Alvis and bonding with him.

A breath of fresh air indeed, after a considerable amount of viewpoints calling her a plot device and barely a character...

After that Fiora clip that circled Twitter, peoples perspective of Fiora was really skewed. I always thought she was a really good character and such a sweetheart and my favorite party member to use in battle. Thank so much for this video.

Fantastic video that really shows Fiora's strongest points about her character and narrative purpose in both Xenoblade 1 and the rest of the games.
I've always thought dismissively about Fiora, but this video has given me new insight and makes me appreciate her more now.
I've never noticed how subtle her empathy towards others was, in trying to understand people, trying to push them towards a healthier way of living, and to try and have everyone get along with each other for the better.

This was very well made and has turned me into a Fiora enjoyer now.

Honestly, I feel like Fiora is given way to much criticism because of that one line. It’s kind of annoying in some respects, because while it can be read as “Shulk is my everything” I believe it’s literally just her giving the stage to Shulk as their defacto leader, as they are going into the final battle. However, I think Fiora has such a prominent role in xenoblade 3 and it’s great to hear you talk about her in general. Since a large part of Fiora’s character is her being focused on protecting her group and bonding unique ideals, it isn’t surprising that Lucky Seven resonates/growls whenever mobius comes around. Her proactive nature guides the party, and allows them to carve their way through the fear that embodies Mobius and the world—like how she carved the fear embodied by Zanza from Shulk.

The part about the trinity processors being represented within each game makes so much sense! Feel like something clicked into place in my mind

So happy to see Fiora love!! She's a very important part of XC1 to me. Meyneth needed someone like her and saw her as someone who could lead the Homs and people of both worlds to a better future. I also love how she is symbolically present in XC3 as lucky 7. Even though she and Pneuma are not physically present, their legacy continues through the wills of Noah and the Ouroboros team.

The comparison you made between Fiora and Rex is really fascinating.

They both fulfill an incredibly similar role in their respective narratives once you boil it all down. And while both have their haters, I tend to see more people defending Rex as an "absolute gigachad" than I do see Fiora defenders be vocal. Now I'm not going to immediately jump to the conclusion that the preference towards Rex's brand of support is applauded more than Fiora's due to blatant sexism (even though it's still possibly a contributing factor) because I think there's more going on here.

The main thing separating the two is that Rex is thrust into the role of main protagonist while Fiora is "killed off" early and doesn't get as much screentime as the others. In that way, Rex is highlighted and praised much more for his role as the one that brings out the best in others, whilst Fiora is often considered to be a mere plot device. In general Fiora's significance is incredibly undersold in both Xenoblades 1 and 3. (Now whether she's not given as much credit in-universe is due to gendered stereotypes or not is besides the point, though I think there is a very real possibility of it.)

I have no idea where I'm going with this besides restating what you've already said in that Fiora is an incredibly important character that deserves way more praise and attention than she currently is getting. I am very glad she turned out to be Lucky Seven in Xenoblade 3, and I am also very glad that you made this video. Fiora needs more love.

I was like low key a Fiora hater before watching this video, but the analysis has provided me with an appreciation of one of the few aspects I didn’t already highly adore about this series. Something I’d love to see discussed a little more in the community is how interesting and even profound it is that the main soul or dream held within Lucky Seven is Fiora. The one who would refuse fighting before trying to find a way out with words manifested in Aionios as a weapon of unparalleled strength able to cut anything. I think that says a lot about the hopelessness of Aionios and puts simply how evil and unreasonable Moebius are.

Fiora's always been my favorite character, when I first played Xenoblade, 2 years ago I thought everyone would love her too, but I was shocked at how mixed the reviews were on her character. I always found her so inspiring, how she was able to persevere through anything that came her way, and realizing how much everyone around her cared about her when she didn't believe it was the truth. The biggest moment to me was when she realizes how much her 'death' affected Shulk and the others, makes me all emotional to have her realize that she was so valued and loved all along!

Maybe the real xenoblade was the friends we made along the way.

But seriously, I think it’s interesting to note that Fiora has Meyneth’s memories. To me, this at least implies that she has some inkling of the world before Klaus’ experiment. But that’s just my headcanon.

Fiora is still my most favorite character ever!

Ever since it was confirmed that she was L7 I've definitely been seeing Fiora in a new light, but this video really drove home that "damn Fioras awesome..." She's definitely going up my character tier list

Great Xenoblade character analysis. Fiora is already one of my favorite Xenoblade characters. But it's just so sad how lots of fans dismiss her and say she's a plain one dimensional character.

The Xenoblade trilogy has some of the best writing in the industry. What makes it so strong is how subtle it is at times. All the games respect the audience enough to figure stuff out. So if you are willing to look deeper you can find so much.

When i experienced xenoblade 1’s story again after like 5 years it really made me realize how little credit i gave to fiora and now she’s probably in my top three characters for that game

another banger analysis! I never realized just how much of an anchor Fiora was for everyone around her as well as her connections to the rest of the games. I liked her as a character already but this video has made my admiration of her character skyrocket. She deserves so much credit!

Beautifully said and well put together! Came here from Ontos99, he suggested this video and your channel. After watching this breakdown of Fiora's role and symbolism within Xenoblade, you've made me fall in love with the character even more than ever before. Honestly felt emotional watching this, you've earned a new sub! ❤
