For Ado during her childhood, Hatsune Miku was a teacher, an aspiration, and a friend.
Miku is forever 16 years old. Now, both Ado and many of her audience members are older
than Miku.　 In Japan, cherry blossoms symbolize both meetings and farewells...

😂”Ado, one hell of a drug” that description just killed me man! Great reaction vid!!!!

And Tot Musica in this live performance would have won a prize at any metal festival.

1:18:14 初音ミクの存在がadoが歌うきっかけになった一つです。なので初音ミクと同じステージに立てることが堪らなく嬉しいと思いますよ。

their reactions to rule are so real!! just being astounded at the musicianship!!!!

I was hoping “back light”. There wasn’t the song. Next time please ❤!

嬉しい
ありがとう😭

I love that both of you hear the whistle tone, clock that in, and immediately trying to find the note, that's such a nerd move (in every good way possible), it's so funny watching it and I absolutely get it😂

Sakura means cherry blossoms, which are the symbol of farewell and encounter. In Japan, school semesters start in early April and end in March. This is the season of cherry blossoms, with which we remember our old friends and new friends in new environments.

My favorite Ado song is Where the Wind Blows (風のゆくえ). It doesn't have a live version but It is a very beautiful song

I think it's the right time to do another Ado live stream because Ado has released a lot of songs, and the ones I'm most looking forward to are the Rule Live and Kokorotolu nano fukakai Live performances, which have been uploaded to Ado's official YouTube account.

I guess the chat undersell the "Dream Come True" Part. The reason why she was so emotional was because She is singing on stage with the person who made her wants to sing and in love with music on a song thats written by a song writer/singger mafumafu that made ado wants to be a singer on stage.

The Hatsune Miku vocaloid original version of Hibana released in 2017 is on DECO*27's youtube channel. 75M views so I assume this is a well known song in Japan. Also well known to people who play Japanese music rhythm games. DECO*27 wrote the lyrics for Odo.

A little bit about Vocaloid. And why is this important for ADO.
Ayase, a member of Yoаsobi (a top J-pop group that performed at Coachella in 2024), in an interview: «At the time, I was the vocalist of a heavy punk rock / hardcore-type of band. Vocaloid was the last thing on my mind. But my band disbanded, and I was alone. I didn’t have any money, despite the part-time jobs, and I was at the bottom of my life. My electricity, water, gas, everything was turned off. And, my girlfriend of nine years left me… It was the lowest point in my entire life, and I met Vocaloid and Hatsune Miku. The thing about Vocaloid is you can compose music alone with your computer. So, when I didn’t have friends, a girlfriend, or even money, I still had my PC. And I thought I could start composing with this. I couldn’t give up on music, and as I went deeper into the Vocaloid world, I met so many people. And I met Ikura, and we formed YOASOBI, and it brought me to where I am right now. So you can say Hatsune Miku actually saved my life. She’s my hero. Hatsune Miku and the Vocaloids.»

Please check out Kokoro To Iu Na No Fukakai, the final song of her Shinzou live performance. I watched it in cinemas and her emotional speech before it (there was captions) made me cry and though I didn’t understand the song, it was still amazing

During the videos for TV show at the beginning of April, she was sick and you can hear it in some places. Shortly afterwards about 2 weeks later she had her performance at the opening of the Expo in Osaka and then the world tour start.

Hello from Japan♪ I went to her concert last weekend (she's just started her 2nd world tour from Japan), and that was super amazing!! She sang songs which you couldn't find live version for this live stream, too (Hibana, Rule, Rock Star)✌ I hope you two and Ado's fans in the world will experience her music in person on this tour✨💙

Most of Ado songs are composed by famous japanese composers, like Deco27, who composed the original Hibana and used vocaloid to sing it, since he isn't a singer himself.
Most japanese artists have a connection to vocaloid and it's a big part of japanese music culture.

Whoops! I saw part 2 first. Never mind. What a delicious 90 minutes! You guys always have such great conversations. I got tripped up by "Usseiwa," punched by "Odo," got a Spartan kick from "Tot Musica," and now I'm falling down a deep, deep rabbit hole by Ado. I'm in my 60s, and I feel so lucky that a singer like Ado was born in Japan while I'm still alive.

I'm sorry that Japan is so obsessed with copyrights. It's a national character that checks how many times a song is sung in karaoke bars all over the country every day and collects copyright fees. But the profits always go back to the lyricists and composers. On your show, you use magic to avoid being banned, like blurring the videos.
