I WAS AN EXTRA IN TROY! One of the highlights of my life at the time (i was 21). I was vacatioing in Cabo, and LOOOOONG story short, i bs'd my way into being an extra. Several days living in a hotel and 5am bus rides to set. The wall was amazing, like a travel through time. The inside, trucks, trailers, a helicopter, the interior wall made from exposed foam and scafolding. Then walk through the gates and on the outside, portal to an anceint world - horses, battle armor. I made several bulgarian friends, and snuck a small kodac camera in my underwear. I ran in the battle where the sides collide - foam tip spears, woodem swords, rubber armor, a large camera zooms by from crane to crane - later 200 or 300 soldiers added by computer - maybe 50 of us actually there. I stood on the wall shooting imaginary arrows. I watched Brad and Bana practice their fight in the empty field. Was considered to be standin for Bloom for about 10 min LOL. Saw all the actors. At the end, I couldnt keep any of the vouchers worth maybe several hundred dollars - i gave them all to a kid selling chiclets. Some of the best days of my 20s. When the film came out my family and friends threw a small premeire party. Such a great film and an experience that i carry with me forever.

I think the Achilles-Hector fight was one of the best choreographed fights on film of all time.

Brad Pitt was incredible in that film. I loved that movie, watched it at least 5 times. Totally underrated movie.

Great performance of Achilles from tyrant to sensitiveness at the end. Leadership at his  best acting beyond the king of kings. Love this interview. Fibonacci numeric sequence has a lot on his face and beauty.

There's a lot of stories online that he was frustrated with the creative direction of Troy and didn't regard it among his best work, but it seems here he holds the film in a very high esteem.

Troy, one of my favorite roles for Brad Pitt.. I mean he  was 40 y/o and those fight scenes looked so amazing!! He was definitely someone to love and hate in this role. So many powerful scenes in this film. Great interview & great job Brad!!

Troy was absolutely epic!!!  Brad is just gorgeous. He will remain gorgeous throughout the years.

I liked the movie; Brad Pitt did a great job, Eric Bana was great; it’s entertaining, exactly what movies should be, they aren’t supposed to be brain surgery.
