What was your most frustrating platinum? 👇

Nothing says, "I'm having fun" like playing the same segment 1000 times just to unlock one garbage trophy.  I have this happen quite often.

Permanently damaging your hand for some trophy-shaped lights on a screen is wild.

A hard platinum is tough if you know what you’re in for, but the worst is going into a game expecting it to be an easy platinum but finding out that’s it’s a lot harder than you thought. The one I had recently was Ratchet and clank. I stupidly looked at the platinum difficulty for Ratchet and clank Rift apart instead of the original game remake and found out the hard way that I had to do another entire playthrough minimum and also had to groovibomb every single enemy which is a notoriously annoying and glitchy trophy to earn. I now find myself on the brink of having to do a third playthrough as I haven’t maxed ratchets health. Not the hardest platinum on the planet but frustrating when you think it’s going to be a much simpler time.

Bruh the people taking seriusly the "made me almost end it all" part, guys it's a joke, i've watched many of his videos and i think he is one that can do something like that

bro, Ape Escape is a phenomenal game and so incredibly easy to platinum.

One of the hardest games i fully completed was The Binding of Isaac Rebirth with all dlcs which took me 650+ hours to fully complete. To fully complete this game  you have to defeat, Mom, Boss Rush, Moms Heart, Satan, The Lamb, Isaac, Blue Baby, Mega Satan, Hush, Delirium, Mother, The Beast, and Ultra Greedier with all 34 characters and also you have complete all 45 different challenges and all the other  garbage surrounding it. Fully completing The Binding of Isaac Rebirth is like finishing your education and paying of your debts.

The trophy that made me give up with platinums was Truly Awesome from Rayman Legends. I got 100% in the game in March 2022, then spend three months daily grinding up Awesome points for the last trophy. Every second I was bricking that Ubisoft would suddenly shutter the server without warning - was worse the closer I got to actually getting the trophy. Said to myself then I was retiring, so I got one final plat and peaced out.

Persona 4, the first game I got for Vita and the game that got me inspired to do trophy hunting properly. I had never platinumed it, so I commit and got it done in 8 days.

I've plat games since, but only if I felt it was really worth my time. As I've gotten older I realised the only person who looks at my trophies is me, and I don't even look at them really.

I've been playing Ape Escape since i was a kid, and I recently got the Platinum, so hearing how much trouble you had is kinda hilarious for me, since it was super easy and no i didn't use any cheats

Man the sack boy trophy honestly took me like 5+ hours alone i struggled but got it eventually, great video my friend keep em coming

I just recently started going for Platinum trophies after finishing the Dark Souls trilogy. I loved all three games and simply wanted to go for their Platinum trophies but they also proved to be very frustrating at times (looking at you DS 3 Darkmoon Covenant). Currently I have DS 1 and 3 platinumed and I'm working on part 2 right now but all in all, I'd say as of right now DS 3 was the most frustrating to get

Bro, the Sackboy trophy is quite insane, I tried it a few times and quickly gave it up because I wasn’t prepare for a pain in the ass like that…

sifu was my first ever platinum, i got it a few months back and it got me into trophy hunting. it was honestly easy for me because i’ve sunk so many hours into it on pc beforehand 😭

I can't for the life of me get the 5 defuses on R6 siege. Had 3 for the last 9 months.

Ironically I got rainbow six siege platinum without even trying

7:11 beyond two souls and new tales from the borderlands have the same frustrating trophies to get, in beyond two souls you have to view all the endings (which there are a total of 10-12 i think) some of them you can just do them at the last chapter, while others require for you to go back to old chapters in order to get the ending, which is pretty damn infuriating, but hey i still managed to platinum the game, but it will never be one of my fav games to platnium.

I did sifu 100% completion and I must add that for the 100% not only you need to feel fluent on normal difficulty but on a max one as well for a couple of challenges. For example, the last one is to take down all bosses in one go back to back on max difficulty (their movesets are expanded)

Tekken 8s platinum is actually very easy to obtain from other fighters. But yeah I agree that both SF and MK plats are a pain

Bro, ‘end it all’ is wild man. Don’t let videogames get to your head. Take care of your mental, it controls everything

I had a similar issue with New Tales, although in my case by replaying the last chapter multiple times I managed to get 3 out of the 5 endings. I then had to restart the entire story from the start following a guide to get the best ending, and then restart it once more to get the one I was missing. In the end I finished the game with over 50 hours because of so much trial and error (aside the one playthrough following a guide).
