Last year, I brought my partner, who is African American and well traveled in other parts of ASEAN, to the Philippines for the first time time. He thoroughly enjoyed it and loved how welcoming my extended family and even strangers were. We highly recommend the Bambike sunset tour through Intramuros. It ended with cocktails and stunning, sweeping views of the bay and the cityscape from the rooftop bar at the Bay Laurel hotel. Our guide Jonathan was excellent and we learned a great deal from him.
Can’t wait to visit Manila, my family’s province, and other parts of the Philippines again and again! 🇵🇭
