Uroosa is a timeless family drama and its story revolves around a complicated family structure shaped by ego, relationships, and societal expectations. It follows Tofique, a successful barrister who is deeply attached to his sisters but neglects his wife, Anjum. Due to misunderstandings and family pressures, he divorces her when their daughter, Uroosa, is still an infant. As years pass, Uroosa grows up away from her father, unaware of the emotional wounds that shaped her family. When she eventually reconnects with him, long-buried truths begin to surface. The drama beautifully explores themes of broken relationships, forgiveness, parental responsibility, and the emotional impact of divorce on children. With its strong narrative and realistic portrayal of family dynamics, Uroosa remains one of PTV’s most memorable and impactful dramas.
