Barbara. Wow. Imagine her in 1984 with her top down...

A very polished and professional presentation. Love watching the mechanics at work.

That Facel Vega is a wonderful car. I'm jealous.

You would think a car collector show would know the difference between a Lotus Elite and a Lotus Elise, two very different models separated by two decades.

The dog certainly tells us what he thinks of that lotus two minutes in!  A big pile of... ahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

I helped the owner of a white Facel Vega HK500 push his car to the side of the road as it had just broken down.
He was sick of it conking out and offered to sell it to me for £500.
I was a student at the time in about 1968.
I wanted it but couldn't afford it.

Facel Vega, outstanding machine

I'm lucky enough to own a Facel Vega. Beautiful car. 1:43 scale. I can see it in the cabinet as I'm typing this.

iInteresting to see the GTi convertible show up in Retropoweer's spray booth. Also, now has a GTi badge on the grille.

Min 7:50 The VW Golf 1 Cabriolet was not officially called "GTI" in Germany, but rather GLI (e.g., with a 1.6L 110 hp or 1.8L 112 hp engine). Although the high-performance fuel-injected models technically used the GTI engine from the sedan, the "GTI" designation was never used for the Cabriolet. So wiered to see the GTI Logo on it. Greetings from Germany.

lovely old badger

The Lotus Elite....with Morris Marina door handles.....

Right time, right day for a deal on a FV.

I was living in Bridlington in the mid 1990s. I saw this weird silver car parked in the street. It had unusual rear lights (the lights on this one appear to be normal, maybe they've been replaced?). It was early internet days so it took me a few weeks to find out what it was.

Beautiful
