Bodybuilding is not about showing you can beat one or another. Its all about reaching a mentally point where you realize that you can become what ever you want out there, you just need to work hard enough for it. And you achieve something which really inspire you.
This is the best pre workout video I have watched. It all makes sense to me now.. all the parties I missed, all the girls I could have had. Everything. Thank you and God bless!
I admire the dedication, passion, sacfrice and commitment it takes to be a body builder. I am not sure about the healthiest or strongest being to ever walk the planet. Powerlifters are often stronger, and I don't want to discount many of healthy people out there who don't live the body building life style. Not intending to hate, and my hats off.
Aesthetics left the bodybuilding in the beginning of 90s. Athletes suddenly wanted to become crazy big, leaving all the beautiful forms and figures and getting just pure mass. I hope the Golden Era of bodybuilding will come back one day.
For me personally, Bodybuilding is not about aiming to get a body like anyone else's.. it's about pushing yourself to sculpt your own (what in your own mind) masterpiece. The pain in the gym, the constant eating of foods you hate but you eat them anyway because you want that image in your head so badly, The constant physical and mental strain on yourself... Some people may think we're crazy and they can't see why we do it but we know why, we do it for ourselves! And we love it!!
They are training in a beneficial way. The extreme dedication helps shape their minds while the hours and hours of hard work in the weight room strengthens their bodies, and their minds as well. Training to no end is not pointless. When it comes to fitness, there is no end. You should always be striving to push yourself and breakthrough barriers. I'm not a bodybuilder, but I weight train to stay in shape. Don't downplay what these people have done. It's not easy, few people can do this.
