Rome did not fall because of the gladiators in the colosseum. Rome fell because of the sick people in the stands. Such true words. Classic quote. Well done, JBL.

Now that I’m older I realized JBL was incredible on the mic. He looked legitimately pissed in this lol

What’s sad about this is JBL is speaking the truth and no one gives a damn.

JBL showed real empathy and compassion in this promo. JBL always spoke the truth

Who let JBL cook this hard ?? DAMNNNN!!

No man is hated more than he who speaks the truth.

I miss this JBL. He should return as a manager of a heel stable.

JBL is a legend. he was a amazing heel.

I agree with JBL that match was very barbaric.

For Once I gotta agree with JBL on this Segment

The way he delivers his promos is so believable. Love his work!

One of the best underrated heels in WWE, JBL always made me laugh, he's so savage lol

Quiet as kept JBL is one of the best on the mic

The man was great. He ripped ECW right in their backyard. Then just walked out saying they sucked.

Used to hate JBL but now that I'm older, I agree with all that he says in his promos.

JBL is very serious here. A true wrestling GOD!

Man I hated this character as a kid and that's why today I respect the hell out of it as one of the best heels.

JBL sold this like a f'n tourist guide bamboozling rich tourists. LOL

Who else just searched "I am a wrestling god" just to watch JBL say it?

JBL in my opinion was the best heel of the 2000s, at least of Smackdown. His promos were always seemingly heartfelt but the older you get and the more you understand kayfabe you really learn to appreciate someone who is fully committed to getting behind their character on TV
