Anyone fancy a game of heads down thumbs up?

My daughters school told her off and gave her a negative point because she said bless you in the quiet corridor when her friend sneezed! I collected her and brought her home cos thats was fucking ridiculous!!

I'm so glad I left school before phones became prevalent.

Trust me Cam.... Year 7 nowadays are terrifying! I'm in year 13 and I always avoid them at all cost!
Do you think you'll be watching the new traitors, mate?

they've reinforced our school rules and i got lunctime detention today because i wore socks AND tights instead of socks OR tights

i actually had a fire alarm yesterday and these year 7s who were being all rowdy decided to scream "(name) STARTED THE FIRE" over and over and one of my teachers quite literally pulled him out of the massive group and took him down to what we call Student Services (basically a place you can get school supplies, new timetables, etc etc) to be apparently questioned. i saw him after school because a lot of us take the buses and he looked TRAUMATISED. like proper scared.

I was bullied for two years because I had a limp one day I snapped and kicked the shit out of the main protagonist never bullied again, in fact I was respected.  Im 70 now this was in the 70s.  This was a grammar school . Someone  nearly killed  the needlework teacher by ramming a toilet roll in her exhaust.

Someone in my school grabbed a year seven and used him as a battering ram to charge down a starcase bowling them down 🤣🤣

What I’ve gotten from this video is that people are really bored in UK schools, which valid 😆

Think you’d be horrified if we went to high school together. I was typical ADHD and autistic that presented in super hyper activity. I made literal weapons and played capture the flag using said weapons. A functioning crossbow from pens and rubber bands that had a 10-12ft projectile range, sticks I picked up from the field and hammered thumb tacks through them to mimick Neagans bat from TWD. I never wore my shoes, and my tie, I picked out all colours in it except for black and red (it was blue, red, yellow and white) and half the time was worn around my head. Trousers rolled up into shorts. Constant pranks on teachers and classmates. My mum had to block the head of years number. I was a menace. Doing things I definitely shouldn’t have done either but never got caught. Some of the best fun of my life.

I was a teacher for 17 years, and Cam, believe me, your teachers loved you for being one of the ones who didn't gob off at us when we asked you to do something reasonable. You and your ilk are literally the reason we continue to come in every day. Those 'confident' kids? Tears in the staffroom, my love. Not kidding. We just want to do our best for all of you, and being told to f-off for asking someone to take their coat off or write down the LO... Let's just say it grinds you down (and the reason I'm not a teacher anymore 😅).

Once someone at my school a couple of years ago had pulled the fire alarm and one kid who had only just started a week ago vomited from worry and the other year 7s went feral filming and yelling at the poor kid

One time i got negatives for wearing white socks during assembly

Cam getting whipped in changing room is not normal . Uncle ray ray vibes 😂😂

Omg that's me in the video at 15:58 I can confirm we were basically pulled out of lesson for this and 'guided' (forced) us what to say and everyone who didn't say good things would be cut out of the interview lol. We were promised free icecream for it and I have yet to recieve it :(

Thank you for sharing that story about your grandfather. My grandmother was my savior, too. She passed three days ago; it was nice, even if painful, to be reminded of all the times she protected me when no one else would as a kid. Thank you 💜

8:49 - in year 11 after we finished our GCSEs we had a Year 11 Leavers Assembly that our parents also came to, and at the end they showed us all a video of all the teachers dancing and singing to “Happy” by Pharrell Williams 😭💀

5:37
Cam: I don't think that sounds like an apology
Me: I don't think that sounds like English

9:40 LMAO as an American, the teachers would just get made fun of and/or students would just wanna leave and never come back 😭🙏

2 stories:
1, we got banned from the showers in the changing rooms because people would use them to just hide in to get changed, and then one was accidentally turned on somehow so the lass got drenched through and had to do the walk of shame to the spare clothes storage part.
2, a kid literally threw books at multiple staff because he didn’t wanna get off his game and the staff turned his computer off (lunch you’re allowed on some games but as soon as it’s lessons you have to go back to normal work).
Also my school has started doing lockdown drills and I just vibe in the corner like “yay, it’s dark and everyone’s finally shut up, I can get a break!”
