Thank you for reaction. You made my day. I'm French Canadian and heard this song my whole life. It is very old. It was written by the French Icon Edith Piaf for her husband who died in a plane crash not long after their marriage. She is known for her vibrating unique voice. Since this is her hymn to her husband, everyone stuck to singing the song without real emotion, all the same. But Dimash made it live again. He honoured her by singing it his way and adding all those beautiful arrangements. She loved men a lot. But her only love was her husband who died. I think she is smiling in Heaven hearing this version of her song. And I think if she was alive she would have written Dimash a song. She was a perfectionist like he is. It is just an amazing interpretation that no one will ever be able to match. It is perfection. And he cannot sing it soft all the time because he is a man. That little bit of pop he added makes it manly, the man going after the girl. And all the power also very sexy. And the high notes that make us think of her and angels in heaven. Just total perfection. Just perfect.

Yes, whenever Dimash sings a cover, he “dimashifies” it so it becomes impossible for anyone else to do it justice.

Dimash is a musical genius and completely restructured this classic 1949 song by Edith Pilaf into a new Dimash classic! 😁

Dimash gives me chills every time I listen to him!!! He is the best in the whole universe!!!

DIMASH has the biggest VOCAL PAINT BOX of any 🎨 artist!

From that DEEP baritone, he ROCKETS up into the stratosphere. Then, from the next higher note in the scale, he gracefully cascades, descending with the most effortless & precise R&B run I've ever heard in my 64 years! And that wasn't even the climax of the performance! Magnificent is a gross understatement!!😮🔥🔥

Dimash is teaching the industry how crossover music should be orchestrated and performed thanks for this reaction!

Большое спасибо за реакцию. Это высокое искусство. К сожалению, не всем дано это понять. Но это их упущение. Пусть Бог ему помогает, а он нас радует. С уважением из Украины.

This is such a moving performance. His low register has matured to where he no longer needs vocal fry to reach it. It is now as well supported as the rest of his range. When I first started listening to him several years ago, it was a matter of how amazing his range and support throughout that range. But now, he's developed such a high level of maturity to his range that, it is now not only amazing, it is absolutely gorgeous too. This performance brings me to tears every time I watch it. I'm going to NYC in October to see him at Madison Square Garden. I really hope he has permission to perform this song at that concert. It will be amazing. Thank you again for a wonderful reaction.

I think Dimash gave his ALL in his interpretation of Hymn d'Amour. This gave a new soul to this song.  When I heard it, immediately I said this is his best in his ability to intertwine his brilliance, talent, commitment, techniques, dedication & love. You can literally feel his soul dancing around him. Thank you Dimash

Perfect example how to make old song from 1949 by legendary Edith Piaf, into new one.  💖💖💖💖💖💖

Dimash is the embodiment of the best qualities of a person and a singer

Yet another masterpiece from Dimash. Edith Piaf a huge star in France in the 1940/50's wrote this for her love of her life in around 1949. It was one of her big hits back then. Celine Dion sang this at the start of the Olimpics standing on the Eiffel Tower. Dimash, as always, did a new arrangement that suited him  & he made it into a masterpiece. He truly is a phenonemon 😊🙏💞

Sur le « je me fous » le vibrato utilisé à lui seul est un hommage à Edith Piaf❤

whatever Dimash sings is exquisite.  He is the BEST singer in the world.

Yes , you are right
When not Dimash can bring the world of music (and humanity) together , who can do it ????
He is the GOAT and million of Dears all over the world know it and we all love him❤❤❤
Thank's for your great reaction

The way he trilled “vous” is the way Piaf sang the entire song. That was an homage to her.

jim, this song was written  by Edith Piaf and music by Marguerite Monnot  back in 1949....   after her promised was killed in Plane crash....  Dimash Just made a new  SOS. style .... for 2025...

.... and not only did Dimash do all that - THREE LANGUAGES in this  vocal masterpiece . Pronunciation may not be perfect, but none of these were his native languages. WOW
