In February 1984, one of the greatest tragedies ever recorded during Natal's Carnival forever marked the city's history.
A bus struck members of the Puxa-Saco bloco (Carnival group) near Baldo. The result was devastating: 19 people died and dozens were injured.
This video reconstructs the case using newspapers from the time, documents, photographs, and historical records. The investigation, the versions presented, the driver's situation, the fatalities, and the paths taken by the justice system over the decades are part of a story that remained open for many years.
