What makes it even more odd is that Pac-Man's death sound DOES appear in StreetSmash from SSB 3DS, but not the main game...

Steve should not place stone blocks, he should place cobblestone blocks. He is not using a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch.

9:53 this means that smash steve cannonically plays with keep inventory on

Missed opportunity: On Sephiroth's victory animation announcer could say "The winner is..." and then, his victory theme choir shouts Sephiroth.

When Steve techs, he should use the water bucket to break his fall.

9:34 Steve doesn’t drop his materials not because it would confuse players or Sakurai didn’t consider that, but because when Steve joined Smash, he turned on /keepInventoryTrue

"The only charecter with a unique dodge is Terry."

Here's a pretty simple missed opportunity: they should've added more special victory voice lines like with fox/falco, pit/dark pit etc. If Meta Knight beat Kirby he could say "Now I truly am the strongest," or Cloud could tell Sephiroth "stay where you belong, in my memories." There's so many they could do, maybe even interacting with other series like Sonic sneering at Mario or something.

Inkling should also get their death sounds played, could even make it so they explode with ink and release the ghost thingy when they lose a stock in stamina mode.

Steve's Star KO should be "Steve fell out of the world"

Also, I'm surprised the four Minecraft characters didn't have any unique death sounds, especially since there could've been one for each character.

Steve: Classic "oof"
Alex: Modern fall damage noise (which is technically in the game already)
Zombie: hurt and death sounds
Enderman: hurt and death sounds

Meta Knight's mask should break off when you defeat him in stamina battle.

“Go mythra! Go mythra!”

“Go pyra! ( gets demolished”

The outro was stellar

When getting hit by Thwack: "Steve died to intentional game design"

Most missed opportunity? Not giving Toon Link an engineer alt.

I would've loved a "Game Over Theme" for any character when losing a challenge, almost every game has one, just like the victory themes

@TAYBR00K 5 years ago

I wonder how many comments say "Missed opportunity: [their most wanted character in smash"]?

Missed opportunity: having piranha plant lullaby play when plant is asleep, along with a big bubble coming out oh it, as an homage to Mario 64

Missed Oportunity idea: When a Zelda character is using the Special Flag to recover a stock, the fanfare that plays when you get an Item from a chest would play.
I think it would be more cooler that the fanfare would change to resemble the game where they are from, but that would make Sheik, Y. Link and Ganondorf have the exact same but whatever.

Missed Opportunity: Inklings should’ve gotten an extended victory theme, being the continuation of the Splatoon 1 victory theme, just like how Cloud has the full FFVII victory theme

I feel like we could give the pokémon unique pokeballs for their stage entrances.

Pokéball for Pikachu (He's the mascot)
Love Ball for Jigglypuff
Master Ball for Mewtwo
Nest Ball for Pichu (A ball that works best or low level pokémon)
Friend Ball for Lucario (Riolu evolves into Lucario with high friendship)
Dive Ball for Greninja
and Dusk Ball for Incineroar (Idk he's Dark type)
