This time, we visited Gensen Yuyado Tensho in Kokonoe Town, Oita Prefecture, a popular spot for those seeking an open-air bath with their own room, a place that's often difficult to book.
This inn boasts abundant hot spring water, with rich, flowing spring water flowing freely throughout all rooms and the private baths throughout your stay.
There is one Western-style room and the rest are Japanese-style rooms.
This inn is perfect for hot spring lovers, as you can bathe whenever you like.
They offer a natural, free-flowing hot spring, with the amount of water adjusted according to the temperature of the day.
They do not offer drop-in bathing, so you must stay overnight to enjoy the hot spring, and in addition to beef, horse, chicken, and pork dishes, they also serve a variety of delicious dishes made with local ingredients...
In a secluded, quiet location, we couldn't help but enjoy the snow-viewing bath.
