The Patella (anatomy)

The patella. That's it. The bone. Well, and the muscle that attaches to it. And the bones that it associates with. And the ligaments and/or tendons. But otherwise, just the patella. Of the knee joint.

You should do a life anatomy tour. I would buy tickets anyone else?

My friend just broke his patella in two. This was helpful to understand his injury, thanks.

Often heard about the 'Q angle' but to SEE it and hear it so well explained is great. Thanks for all your hard work sir on these excellent videos. I continue to learn something every day :)

25 Likes - 1 dislike? Whats wrong with that person! .... didn't they even appreciate the "I had one kicking around the office" punchline? oh I despair I really do, some people just have no sense of British wit" Hancock, Corbett, Milligan, Mayall... oh yes they'd all be grasping for that one. :)

I found this episode interesting as I had the ol' keyhole knee surgery (3 times - which is like a good tally for the one knee - right!) and I was always wanting to see for myself what was going on in there. Your clarity in communicating the intricacies of the human body is exceptional and makes for genuinely engaging episodes.
