Viking ritual choir and war drums for the void before all worlds. Ginnungagap — 1 hour of dark nordic ritual music, primordial drone and taglharpa for deep sleep, night ritual and long contemplative sessions.

Hearthen North · Ginnungagap — a ritual journey through the Norse primordial void. Before Ymir. Before the nine worlds. Before gods. Only the gap between Niflheim's mist and Múspellsheim's fire, and the slow stirring of the first thing that would become everything.

Rooted in the Vǫluspá and the Prose Edda. Anchored on the oldest verse in Norse literature: Ár var alda, þat er ekki var — "In the beginning of ages, when nothing was." Eight compositions move through the full arc of Norse creation: from the void itself to the eleven poison rivers, from the first stirring of Ymir to the thaw of Audhumla's tongue, from the salt-born Búri to the moment three brothers shaped the world from a body.

This is the prequel to the Vetrnár Saga. The saga begins here, before the long winter, before the warriors, before Ragnarǫk. This is what came before everything.

For deep sleep · dark meditation · primordial ritual · long focus sessions · the silence before an irreversible beginning.
