The "Seohui" submarine, a state-of-the-art vessel featuring significantly improved detection, diving, and armament capabilities compared to the currently operational Navy submarine "Dosan An Changho," has been unveiled to the media for the first time.

This is a cutting-edge submarine with a wider hull and longer diving endurance, as well as an increased number of ballistic missile launchers, reaching 10.

Having completed land-based construction, the submarine has been floated for final finishing work. Following a launching ceremony next month, the Navy plans to take delivery and commission the vessel around the end of next year.
