Cleric of the trickster god, tricks a thousand-year-old hag into reversing a curse for a cupcake and a friendly conversation. This is the stuff of legend.

I love Matthew's reactions to the party being creative. Matthew was so clearly impressed with Laura, but also so very disappointed that it work out and stopped some of his plans with the hag... 😂

I just realized that at 5:50 when Laura was scrolling through her character sheet looking for her cupcake, Sam SAW what she was going to pull out. So when Marisha was going to have Beau step in, that’s when Sam piped up and said “let her do her thing.” He KNEW what power move she was about to pull 👀

I love how stone cold Jester's voice goes when describing the effects of the spell. This is Jester's revenge.

Liam's mind CLICKED when he heard "disadvantage on wisdom checks and wisdom saving throws" :D

A magic item you forgot about ruining your plans. It doesn’t get more D&D than that.

J: Did I succeed?
M: .... yup....

That was amazing.

I hope that the Hag would stalk them like the Rakshasa, but her sole goal would be to abduct Jester and keep her around, since she’s the best company the Hag ever had. And when the Hag asked Jester what she wanted the most, Jester replied with ‘just your company’ and that’s the kind of loophole a tricky trickster like the Hag would exploit.

Beau: I will do anything, even give up all my happiness just to make sure one of you is happy
Nott: I will prolong a war and put millions of people in danger to get what I want
Yasha: I will start any fight I have to in order to help those I care about
Jester: Itookcareofitletsgo! (Joyfully skips away)

It would be hilarious to me if Jester never tells the team that she tricked the hag and pretends she made a horrifying sacrifice
Fjord: What did you do? What did she take?
Jester: ooooooooooo wouldn’t yoooooou like to know. It was like really bad you guys, for real though ya know? Like it was real bad and I’m so sad like forever now. (She says with a giant smile)

Lara just gave a master class on being a trickster cleric. I mean come on that was a Brer Rabbit, Old Man Coyote, Anansi, Sun Wukong, Reynard the Fox, Loki, Bugs Bunny level of a trick to play. classic myth start in a position of weakness, give the target what they want, temp them with something extra, then pull the rug out from under them, leave the target wondering What just happened.

SHE.KNEW.EXACTLY.WHAT.SHE.WAS.GOING.TO.DO. She walked in there with the expressed intent to make this plan happen. It was glorious! It's a combination of her charm, street smarts and how she read Matt's reactions, she played him like a fiddle and you could hear his disgruntled voice when he realised she played him. That move was brave, and sly and devious and f**kin' epic!!!!

* Liam grins with malicious intent *
* Travis realizes he married the Brer Rabbit *
* Ashley supports her friend through this success *
* Tal and Marisha are dreading the horrible twist that Matt will inevitably pull *
* Sam's mouth tries to implode *
* Matt glares with a mixture of hatred and pride for Laura * (mostly hatred)
* Laura can't believe that actually fucking worked *

God this could literally be a moment of legend. Imagine 1000 years later during mass at the church of the traveler an epic poem is sung. When jester the traveles first high priestess tricked a hag into accepting half a moldy cupcake for her friends freedom
