He's singing, playing the guitar, and harmonica. And he's Killing it❤❤❤

This song is proof that people in their 20's can sometimes feel like they're "getting old". Neil summed it up perfectly.

"Cowgirl in the sand" by Neil......just wow!

Old Man from the same show is top notch!

Down by the River, After the Goldrush

There’s something so intimate about a singer, a guitar and a harmonica.  Raw perfection.  Love it!

This song always makes me a bit sad, because my deceased mother (she was 83)  liked it. As she divorced my dad  when I was 15, and never remarried, it hurts that this song spoke to her.

That beginning was awkward because of the way it was edited.  He's actually having some funny banter with the audience.  He has to dig several different harmonicas out of his coat before he finds the right one.  Then he deadpans "I used to to travel with a band, but I have so much equipment now..."  Thats why he's laughing at the start.

Edit...honestly this is not one of his best songs, it's just his most popular.  It sure is pretty though, mostly due to his vocals but that's a nice melody too.

When Neil plays an acoustic he melts your heart and when he straps on an electric he will fry your brain. Rock on.

"Like a Hurricane " live, great song!!!❤❤❤

Nothing beats Neil's Hey Hey My My Into The Black live performance. Unbelievable. "The King is gone but not forgotten...this is the story of Johnny Rotten".

"Sugar Mountain" is my fav song of his

His MTV UNPLUGGED concert is superb.

After 50 years of listening to this song it still hits hard. You are right even better live.

Playing guitar and at the same time playing harmonica, holy cow! Great song.

Powderfinger!  (by Neil)

Harvest Moon is a really great song, you're gonna like the official video.

“Heart of Gold” took Neil Young to the centre of mainstream success, but reaching that place seemed to show him it wasn't where he wanted to remain. What followed was a deliberate move towards rougher, less comfortable territory.

His song ‘old man’ hits the soul and heart. There’s a live version on YouTube on bbc…
