LTA not even being mentioned is kinda funny

We do not discuss the LTA.

Editor working hard to hide Reginald in the first few TSM shots lmao

Damn this made me feel old

It's kind of weird to mention CLG leaving the league to NRG, but not mentioning TSM leaving at all.

Saying Doublelift betrayed CLG is wild when they cut him

Pastrytime must've taken a break from watching LCS between 2015 & 2016.
Doublelift never betrayed CLG. In fact it was completely opposite. DL said many many times at the time he was loyal to them and would've spent his whole career there if he could. It was Aphromoo who went to management and said "its me or him" and CLG management chose Aphromoo. So DL was kicked from the team against his will.

Very surprised Pastry doesn't know that. It was a very big story and the craziest roster change in LCS history at the time.

After TSM left I had to find a team and watching Flyquest win how they did made me a fan

now explain 2027 where CLG comes back

Good video but I wish you guys dug a little deeper in each split alerting us to the various records and other playoff contenders and narratives and stuff. Also pretty cool that you can literally feel the impact of certain players: Doublelift had a legit era where he just won too much and now Inspired does as well. Even other LCS legends cant necessarily have the same said about them

I started watching in 2021 spring and I felt like such a newb to all this history but now I’ve been following for more than a third of it at this point

I am hopeful for this year. I really hope that players do well this year that we can close the gap that feels like it is there between the west and the east a bit more. MSI was a good showing and I hope it brings back a little bit of hype back into the LCS.

Been around since season 2 esports, this brought me back to so many years ago. Always gonna be a lol player

As a fan who joined after lockdown I will always take pride in backin the LCS o7

Great vid as always boys

"a group of 5 friends" is indeed how it USED to be in the LCS, but now its just a group of 5 imports and/or scrapped together players that have nothing to do with each other and just "good at their role". The reason why LCS worked was bc we had teams of friends...DIG WAS the epitome of that. Now all you have is swiss cheese at that.

2020 c9 we still talk about you

4:40 he actually didn't famously betray clg, it was the reverse clg betrayed dlift by kicking him

Insane that this is painted as Doublelift betraying CLG when CLG made the decision to drop him.

Thanks Pastrytime! I still love any content you put out. Always peaks my interest!

Amazing video!

Fly time baby!
